Step 1: Open a window. “Just by opening one window is already enough to balance the environment.” Says Matt P. Aware Bear on-site technician. He also added that much like osmosis, homes usually have more electric charge specially here in the North East, due to dry air from the furnace and from the A/C. By leaving a window open, you can balance the environment of your home or office.

Step 2: Add a humidifier on big buildings

However usually these server rooms are located in a secure area of the building with little natural ventilation.” explains Matt P. However not all server rooms without natural ventilation is in danger, sometimes, couple server rooms may have too much humidity and that can cause other problems as well. “ One that we noticed that was boarder line too much humidity was at the Rochester Raging Rhinos stadium at Paetec Park. The raw concrete wall of their server room actually brings in moisture from the ground as well as from the air. However tests were conducted and the amount of water particles in the air was beneficial and no dust were found inside server components.” Explained Andre Leite Alves.
Step 3. Clean up!
Aware Bear is crazy about cleaning! “We do not want anything do with dust, as a matter of fact if we see a computer that comes in and it’s dusty, we will open it up and clean it.” –says Michael W. Step 4: Your body may be the worst enemy
Did you know that the average person can carry up to 25,000 volts of static energy? Sounds like a lot huh, but since the current level of energy is so low usually people don’t notice it.
